Camped at Dingman's Campground twice during October 2025. The campground and staff were outstanding! Sites were well-maintained and situated with enough space in between to enjoy privacy. Campsites were also conveniently located within a short walk of the bath house, the Delaware River and the camp store. Speaking of the camp store... it was quaint and stocked with all the goodies one could want during a camping trip. I forgot my little pup Ruby's water bowl and they had one! Amanda attending the store was very knowledgable and friendly. I (and Ruby) will surely be back again next season! Easily 5 of 5 stars!
This campground exceeded all expectations..! Check-in was actually fun because the staff are so up-beat and engaging. The sites are roomy and well maintained. The Bathrooms are well kept and the camp store is very well stocked. This place (as a huge bonus) is a short drive to the Walpack Inn. After staying here for my 1st time I have declared the campground an annual tradition. Thank you to the staff & crew for making it nice. :0)
I had an amazing experience with my mom! I felt super safe just the two of us. Everything was SO clean (like even the shower houses and portapotties - I’ve never seen them that clean) Location was perfect near a bunch of different hikes and waterfalls! There are campsite options on the water and in the woods, both were scenic! Hunter & Kayla who run the camp were so friendly and helpful! We will be back! Photos of our campsite, camp store, and water view. And photos of the 3 waterfalls we hiked too, all less than 10minutes from the grounds. I would and will recommend this place to all of my friends and family!
We booked site 131 as a smaller group hoping to have a peaceful but fun weekend in the woods. Online booking led us to believe that we would have some privacy in the site we chose. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth, we we basically had to “share” the campsite with 2-3 other groups of strangers (sites 129,130,132). All the adjacent sites were butted up against ours and even had walking paths through each site to get to the parking lot/main path.
We can appreciate having a good time and staying up late but our neighbors went well past “quiet hours” and into the night carrying on (which with the close proximity made it hard to sleep).
The camp store/check in facility was really nice and the woman who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. They also deliver wood right to your site which was nice.
We did enjoy some hiking/fishing/biking on nearby trails and enjoyed the weather and scenery.
I just wish the booking website was more up to date or accurate with photos of the campsites, as we definitely would have chosen a different one to stay in. For the price, it was not worth it in my opinion. If we go back to that area we will find another place to camp (more dispersed). Overall it was very clean and the roads were well maintained. If you’re looking for a more casual/party/big group campground this is the place for you.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dingmans Campground over the weekend! The entire property was clean, well-maintained, and peaceful — exactly what I was hoping for. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The campsites were spacious with plenty of privacy, and the amenities (bathrooms, showers, etc.) were immaculate!
The location is perfect — quiet at night but close enough to hiking trails and local attractions. I really appreciated how safe and family-friendly it felt. We especially loved the on-site camp store — we picked up some great merch and grabbed a few essentials we’d forgotten, so convenient!
I’m already looking forward to coming back for another stay!
