5⭐️’s all round! Superb food by Hector, we asked him to choose 3 plates to share and all were phenomenal. Outstanding service by Jess, lots of banter and laughs. Overall a fantastic, fun experience with high quality food. If you are game, ask Hector for his secret extra hot sauce. 🔥 Do yourself a favour and give Hector’s Bistro a go!

You had me at quesadilla! ❤️ Hector's Bistro has quickly become my family's go-to takeout joint! The variety of food, reasonable pricing and exceptional customer service is unmatched! Hector's ability to chef up mouthwatering food makes this Bistro a complete gem! So far we've ordered the chicken, birria, shrimp, jerk chicken & Polish quesadillas, as well as the jalapeño poppers... all of which were nothing short of amazing! Can't wait to continue to explore the rest of the menu! ☺️

I finally was able to make it to Hector's Bistro. The atmosphere is phenomenal. The food was out of this world. The workers are very pleasant and have smiles on their faces, to greet everyone. It's a must to go see the small kitchen, with BIG flavor. Thank you, Hector! ❤️❤️❤️

Stopped in at Hector’s Bistro and got the Southwest Chicken Salad. It was fresh, full of flavor, and the grilled chicken with the toppings and dressing hit the spot. Everything tasted super fresh and came out looking great.

The place itself has a really nice vibe — clean, comfortable, good music, and an all-around welcoming environment. The staff is super friendly and the service was perfect, never rushed and always attentive.

Definitely a great spot in South Amboy. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I really hate to make this review because this place is a hidden gem and everyone's gonna find out how good it is and we will never get a seat. The garlic wings were amazing. I really wanted breakfast late night and Hector said leave it to me and whipped up a burger that had me seeing the 4 stages of nirvana! Pure beef bliss cooked to perfection layered with crispy bacon, pork roll, a fried egg, a hash brown, tomato and a magical sauce that brought all those flavors together. Not to mention the fries were also delicious. The owner and staff were really cool and you could see Hector loved feeding people and his passion and talent shined through each dish that came out of the kitchen. Great late night food spot. We ate here a few times already and always super satisfied. This place deserves a food network feature for sure!
