My mom lived here for a few years. the place was very clean. The upkeep was amazing compared to most apartment complexes. it's surrounded by Woods and quiet. If you're a senior looking for a place to live this should be one of your top picks
Heritage Village at Ocean is Managed by CIS Management out of Lawrenceville. It is a 3 building 55+ affordable housing complex. Carrie Schulz the on-property manager is very pleasant,helpful, & knowledgeable. They are leasing now & applications are available in front of leasing office at 400 Stacey Drive, Ocean Township. There is a on-property maintenance man & things get fixed pretty quickly. They are 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartments in the $1,200+/month range. Pets aren’t allowed but emotional support animals are.
The apartment is an apartment, its fine. The washer dryer is very outdated and takes hours to dry clothes. I personally don't think the stove was safe, but thankfully my mother never used it. However, the company that owns this property is terrible. We moved out in July and have yet to receive our security deposit back. State law requires a refund of security deposit within 30 days, it has now been 4 months! I've reached out multiple times with no real explanation or response as to what is taking so long. I'm now pursuing via the legal route.
