I had been dealing with lower back pain for over a year—almost every single day. I thought it was just a side effect of turning 30 or working a desk job, until I started working with Dr. Shohen. Incredibly, after just the first session and implementing the exercises he gave me, my back pain improved immensely. Dr. Shohen’s personalized care, deep knowledge, and tailored exercises have not only kept me pain-free, but also improved my posture and made me more active overall.

Dr. Shohen truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and ensures you’re performing every movement correctly. He’s even helping me with issues I didn’t think could improve, like my flat feet.

This kind of thoughtful, effective therapy is rare. I’m beyond grateful and recommend Dr. Shohen without hesitation.

Matt is a total GEM! He works with my 92 year old father who is suffering from Alzheimer's along with knee issues and overall lack of mobility. Matt has taught him how to work with his body differently so he will have less pain. He has helped strengthen him, building his confidence in what he can achieve at this age. It's never too late to change your body mechanics and Matt will let you know that! He's also been known to stick around after the session for a quick game of chess to help challenge my Dad mentally. His biggest gift is his compassion and kindness. We are so fortunate to have found him and don't plan on stopping any time soon!

When I returned home from 6 weeks in a rehab center, I was unable to walk, I was in a wheelchair. Due to Dr. Schoen's treatment methodology, 4 weeks later I am walking (quite well I must admit) with a cane and soon to lose that!

Absolutely recommend! I had tremendous back pain for 4 herniated discs; 2 herniated, one protrusion and one extrusion pushing on my spinal chord and Matt was amazing at helping me. Not only in my time of need but also walking me through ways to prevent in the future and exercises that will help strengthen my body and help to recover. He is patient, kind, professional, and tremendously knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
