The two women who were greeting people at the entrance of the museum were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history they were sharing

The museum is small but well organized, and the history shared about the Underground Railroad was very in-depth and included things that were never taught in school either

Great small museum focusing on the significant history of the Underground Railroad in the state of New Jersey. The museum is taking an all encompassing approach, focusing on the broader history of slavery and of the Afro-American community beyond the narrow history of the Underground Railroad. We got a very informative tour by the Executive Director of the museum, Deborah Richardson Price. My only complaint would be that photography inside the museum is not allowed.

Great museum. Small location, but the staff is very informative and a joyous about their work making the experience personable. The passion they have for the location, will make you really feel the essence and appreciate the history even more. Can’t wait for the next event to visit again

Partially self guided tour with guidance of curator as needed. Self paced, so you can go as slow or fast as you'd like. Informative with literature from period, photographs, art work maps, and artifacts to help you better understand that time. A must see for anyone who wants to understand that era. It's free and in a great park that has more to do.
