Can't tell you how many times I've past this Morris County spot and never bothered stopping in until recently. J & M Grill is located on Boonton on Myrtle Ave in close proximity to Route 287 making it pretty easy to get to.

While some spots only cook dogs one way, this location gives you dealers choice on how you want your dog ( grilled, dirty water, or deep fried)
Ordered a Texas Weiner which was tasty on a cold winter afternoon. With the cold, pretty sure they put the tables away for the winter, but the small outdoor patio usually makes a great location to chow down. Staff is always friendly and food is always served hot and fresh.

This use to be my go to breakfast sandwich spot but as of lately I’m not thrilled about it anymore. The portions are slim when it comes to the meats like bacon or Taylor ham. The Sandwiches are almost $10! Which is way too expensive to get 3 pieces of bacon or 2 slices of Taylor ham on $10 sandwich! the bacon was burnt to crisp and didn’t taste good at all! The Taylor ham they use to have was thick cut and not that cheap pre-sliced stuff they serve now. I’m sorry but they fell off unfortunately.

The onion rings were freshly cooked, crispy and flavored perfectly.
I got a deep fried hotdog and it was an absolute treat! The crispy outer layer had the perfect crunch, while the juicy, flavorful sausage inside delivered that classic hotdog taste with a delicious twist. The combination of textures made each bite incredibly satisfying, and the seasoning was spot-on, their special mustard enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. this is a must-try. It's comfort food taken to the next level--crispy, savory, and downright addictive!

The service at the hot dog food truck was exceptional! It was our first time. From the moment I walked up, Mary was so friendly and welcoming. She was happy to answer questions and offered great recommendations. The food was prepared fresh, and my order was ready faster than expected. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Overall, a top-notch experience that made grabbing a quick bite feel special!

Ambiance. Since it's a permanent food truck, there is umbrella seating outside. You walk up to the front side to order and pick up on the right side.

This place is highly recommended.

We hosted my daughters bday party at a Boonton farm and didn’t want to go with pizza so I found J&M catering which had good reviews. The food options were limitless and reasonably priced. Mary was sooo nice and responsive from the very beginning. We went with pulled pork sliders, cole slaw, Mac and cheese, hot dogs, salad, fruit tray and brownies and cookies. The food arrived while we were at the farm. It was set up perfectly! They even moved the table so it would be close to an outlet and then waited for us to return. The food was great! There were lots of comments about how good the Mac and cheese was. Then we passed by Mary’s grill to drop off the rentals. She was so nice and explained how she does catering for all types of occasions including weddings! I am not surprised. Too bad we are not local or ai would use J&M catering as my go-to all the time! Honestly, 10/10!
