I remember when I use to attend preschool here! It was do much fun and I 100% recommend this school. I didn't know not even the word hello in English and now thanks to KDDS's help I am fluent in english!! This school is not only fun but safe for your kids. I also remember they would feed us veggies and even tho we didn't like it they would help us take our first bite. I miss this school soo much!!!
A lovely center filled with activities and wonderful teachers and staff that are happy to be there and teach young minds . My daughter has learned so much and brags about how cool her school is . Very grateful !
I have no complaints. I was very nervous to send my kids to daycare. The social worker is very flexible and works around your schedule for processing and meetings throughout the year. Both my daughters go here and if I have another this is where my child would be. The atmosphere is family oriented and friendly. I do like that the kids do not watch television at all. The teachers really care about the progress of your child from the time they enter the room. I have changed my views on learn through playing method because our kids do need the social aspect of growing. My 4 year old is starting to read and my 2 year old is potty trained. Between home and here my girls are thriving. They also have an on site nurse that makes sure the kids medical records are up to date to prevent any known illness from spreading and thats a plus for me! When the kids play outdoors no one from the community can see them and the front door is recorded and you need to be let in in order to enter the building.
My daughter went here for three years. We enjoyed it! The school is beautiful with a variety of flowers and charming mosaics for the children to enjoy out front.
There's two large playgrounds in the back and two playgrounds on porches providing ample space for running around, come rain or shine. The security is good as you can only enter from the front with a parent code or be buzzed in. There were lots of activities around the holidays and I was able to go on a couple trips with my child, one time to see a play at Raritan valley community college. The children loved it! There were English and Spanish speaking teachers! Liz and Lily, as well as the teachers my child had were excellent.
The schedule was focused around play and prepared the kids for transition to kindergarten. There's also a little reading space in the hall where I often sat and read with my child when I was picking them up.
When your child is going to King's Daughter's Day School they have a balance of play and learning that allows them to enjoy those early years while preparing them for greater learning experiences.
