Masha'Allah, wonderful brothers upon the haqq and lots of quality books upon the manhaj of the salaf.
Such a beautiful masajid, the hospitality and the ilm that you gain from this masjid is truly a blessing from Allah. May Allah continue to bless and put barakah into Al Baseerah and all of their dawah work aameen
Amazing organization. The people of the middle path (may Allah aid them and make them better than what I think of them.)
They are upon the Quran and the Sunnah with the understanding of the companions and all those who follow them in good. They connect the people to the scholars and give them exactly what they need. They teach the foundations of community building and strengthening. I do not know of another organization like them that are this balanced without going too left or too right. May Allah reward them and forgive them for any shortcomings. Even though this isn't my local community, my family and I have never been greeted with anything except smiles. May Allah preserve Shaykh Zahid Rashid and increase him in good along with all those who aid him in this effort.
I don't know of a more balanced masjid or organization in America that sticks to the sunnah with the understanding of the companions. And then to go beyond that, the mannerisms and kindness of everyone here is unmatched. You can feel that they are here to serve the needs of everyone in the community.
Albaseerah Islamic Center is a beautiful example of what a strong, supportive Muslim community looks like. The brothers there are incredibly kind and uplifting — always encouraging each other to grow in faith and do their best in both deen and daily life.
What truly makes Albaseerah stand out is how deeply connected the center is to Islamic values. Whether you're a new Muslim looking for guidance or someone who has been practicing for years, this community makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is filled with brotherhood, sincerity, and a genuine love for Islam.
