I was recommended LRB by a fellow enthusiast, and also by a coworker, which speaks for itself. Only a top tier machine shop would be known in completely different areas of New Jersey.

Although I own a 4 cylinder Miata, LRB didn’t hesitate to take my engine in even though they specialize in Chevy small/big block and other old school v8’s.

Pricing is fair, for the quality of work I would have expected to pay more. Engine machining is something you DO NOT want to cheap out on, it is one of those things where you most certainly get what you pay for.

Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend LRB to any automotive enthusiast looking for a reliable machine shop. I am typing this having driven for 1 year and 10000 miles on the engine that I brought to LRB, with zero head gasket issues or metal particulates left behind that are oh so common with machine shops that cut corners. Any issues I ran into was on my end with minor assembly or operator error.

I hope LRB is still around by the time I need another engine cleaned up, I wouldn’t want anyone else to work on it. Thank you guys at LRB so much.

They are able to take care of all your engine maching and rebuilding needs. Many years experience from all out performance to restoration of an antique classic.

Louie built several engines for me that performed better than expectations with great reliability. He's still going strong I see.
