very wide trails. there is supposed to be a new boardwalk trail. very woodsy so good place to walk in the heat. I turned back after 30 minutes because mosquitos were getting bad. best if you spray for bugs and bring spray with you

Definitely not a maidenhead meadow, no meadow at all really. +1 for a well pretty and winding forest trail. Would've been 5 stars were it not named for somthing it isn't.

Went for the annual Hogmany bonfire. It's a lovely little New Years Tradition. Also toured the house. Well organized event, and I like the cleansing New Year intention of the traditional bonfire. Write a list of negative things from the past year that you would like to put past you. They go up in smoke and sparks, and you can start the New Year with a clean slate. An ancient Scottish tradition.

Great for an easy afternoon walk. Well maintained trails with lots of lovely plant life. Peaceful, not crowded, and easily accessible parking.
