Guys. It’s closed on Tuesday. We missed out.
This is one of the most beautiful and serene spots on Long Island. Kudos to the NYS Parks for keeping this place immaculate. You truly forget you live in the hustle and bustle while you are strolling the lush flowered grounds. It’s truly breathtaking and a must see for anyone.
Camellia House is the prime place to visit in the arboretum in mid-winter to check on blooming camellias. Greenhouse is another location worth checking out. No parking fees in winter season.
You can visit Planting Field Arboretum for free before March. Green house is currently open with tea flowers blooming. It is a nice park for a weekend gateway.
Amazingly whimsical garden. Late spring is the best time to see the lavenders and middle of summer to see the roses in full bloom! The garden and house is fantastic!!
