We chose this funeral home after we met with Fred, the Funeral Director, because we immediately felt we were getting a more personal experience. We also liked the fact that it is a Family owned business. Fred, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time, was not rushing us along and had some great suggestions. His Staff was very helpful and friendly too. We provided some pictures and they put together a beautiful presentation, in addition were able to bring pictures of our Beloved Mom and they were placed beautifully around the room. It was very tastefully done and we are sure our
mom would have been pleased.
Additionally, about a week after our Mom's funeral we received a call from one of their Aftercare Estate specialist, who went over our next steps and answered any questions we had. They were also willing to assist us in this process. In addition, , we were able to speak to professionals regarding any specific questions we had regarding the estate. This was all extremely helpful since we were at a loss as to what we needed to do. It was definitely an added bonus in selecting Manchester Memorial Funeral Home and all has been complimentary.
On behalf of my family and friends, I would like to thank Sarah Koutishian for guiding me through the memorial for my mother, Violet. Sarah spoke to me on a personal, compassionate level that made me extremely comfortable. She made sure to provide a warm and loving atmosphere for my mother’s mourners so they could pay their respects and say their final goodbyes.
I also appreciate very much how the owner and funeral director, Fred Whiteley, guided me through the painful planning process. He explained the business end of things and asked me the important questions that I would not have come up with on my own. His relaxing demeanor and willingness to put together a special memorial was a huge relief during such difficult days.
I would highly recommend Manchester Memorial Funeral Home.
Thank you, Diane
My four sisters and I have nothing but good things to say about the assistance we received from Sarah Pruett and the caring people at the Manchester Funeral Home upon the death of our father. They helped us create an appropriate celebration honoring our father within our limited budget and time restrictions. Sarah was available for every call and responded quickly to our foolish questions and concerns. We would recommend the services of the Manchester Funeral Home whenever there is such a need.
On recommendation of a hospice nurse who has worked with this funeral home for many years, I met with the funeral director on short notice to inquire about funeral arrangements for a family member who was just placed on hospice. He was patient and kind and answered all my questions…there was no pressure and no up-selling. The price he quoted was quite a bit less than what I expected. I returned a few days later with my family, and the funeral director gave them the time they needed to understand everything. The funeral was exactly what he promised and everything went perfectly. We were completely satisfied and would recommend them highly.
My mother had recently passed suddenly. My brother and I had never gone through this type of loss before, but Fred helped us so much. His hospitality and caring nature, helped us so much with making decisions. Fred, Cristal, and the rest of the staff were amazing! The Manchester location was absolutely beautiful! The service room was very large. Enough room for people to walk around. My brother and I would like to thank Fred and his whole team at Manchester Memorial for helping us through this difficult time.
