The locals have a gem here. For such a small-ish area this one packs a unique punch. Not many local places feature a full on roller hockey space (or you could just roller skate there). There is a playground to the left for the little ones (kind of nice that it is it's own space/parking). Down the right side there is ample parking in front of the pond and behind a really nice local baseball park. Maintenance looks great here, very little litter. The pond is aerated and quite healthy judging by the fauna surrounding. Next to the pond is a little lean-to thing for shaded hanging/picnics. There are also benches at scattered throughout overlooking the pond. There is one porta potty adjacent to the ball field.
When I arrived on a late Saturday afternoon there was not a soul in sight. When I left a set of 2 dads were parking to take their sons fishing (6-8 years old maybe?).
Cons ? (being ultra picky) There is no good place to run/jog (you can not go all the way around the lake. On one side of the lake there is a road right there (but it is not busy).
I am a little jealous of the lovely white house that over looks the pond on the north side, what a view they have.
The highlight at this park is the small pond that has some nice bass and catfish. The roller hockey is a nice setup that most towns do not have.
Love it for its versatility.. skate rink, pond, playground, fields, never crowded
I see people fishing here. It’s a good place to fishing.
Nice place to take pictures of your vehicle with nature around. People shouldn't leave their fast food garbage and clean up after yourselves.
