Used these guys to rebuild my 5.7 Counterclockwise Vortec marine engine back in 2021. They were very knowledgeable and rebuilt the motor to my specifications and were able to reuse the crank and cam. Heads were trashed, water intrusion and they were able to source a new set for me. Price was very reasonable and dyno the motor and got it running perfect for me to drop in. Highly recommend them for you machine shop needs.

Had a Lq4 torn down, checked for cracks, fully built and all at a reasonable price. First start fired right up and runs great! Built exactly what I asked, and knew what I wanted, with the quality beyond expectations!
Dissatisfied with quality of work. Asked for an aluminum block to be cleaned and then decked. I cleaned most before I brought it in and needed a specialty shop to clean the rest of it professionally. They had it for 4 weeks to finish these tasks and it didn't look any cleaner than when I dropped it off. Didn't look like they tried to be honest, looked like they doused it in safety kleen (like they said they used) and tried to clean it with just the brush on the parts washer. (I got a lot more of the dirt off just by carrying it outside). They also ruined my cylinder walls, which they incorrectly assumed I wanted it honed and didn't worry about cleaning the safety kleen off the cylinder walls.
Overall bad experience, but the deck looks decent. Perhaps they could have fed it a bit slower, but it feels smooth.
They had many other motors being rebuild (american motors). Seems like they just want to rebuild the entire motor rather than helping out a person doing a rebuild without the machining tools and just wanted to get my block off their hands. In conclusion, if you want to go here for a few things and not a complete rebuild BE SUPER SPECIFIC and OUTLINE WHAT NOT TO DO!
