Apple picking at Melick's in Oldwick is an amazing experience. The staff was so helpful, understanding, and kind. The apples are delicious, and the experience is one of a kind. My dad brought me here as a kid, and now my wife and I get to take our own kids here every year as our Fall tradition. Thank you, Melick's!
My family has been visiting Melick’s for over 20 years. My parents took me apple picking there as a little girl, and we were able to return for another visit with my little ones last week. The apples were fresh, crisp and delicious! The kids loved climbing and playing at the park, in addition to getting to pick their own apples. The donuts were amazing, as always! The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible. It is amazing to be able to pass on fun, fall traditions to the next generation! The prices are reasonable, and I would definitely recommend making a trip to Melick’s when you are in the area!
My favorite apple-picking spot! Every year, my nanny kids and I head to Melick's, and it never disappoints. The apples are always delicious and perfectly ripe. The staff makes it easy to find the best rows for picking, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The apple cider is top-notch, and you can't leave without a some donuts! A truly wonderful fall tradition. And who can forget finishing up the day with a trip to the playgroup which is right by the apple orchard!
I went apple picking last weekend. I don’t want to sound cliche, but the quality compared to store bought is incomparable.
The cider was the best part or the donuts. They’re tied for first. Usually I hate apple cider, it’s consistency and flavor isn’t for me.
But here they make they’re cider, traditional flavor at least, with champagne yeast. And it was more like a sparkling wine you drink on New Years. At least in my opinion, and it’s strong so be careful!
