Very disappointed. I tried to purchase Lemon Ice on 4 different occasions. Each time they tell me they are sold out. I asked them why , and the answer I get is , ITS VERY POPULAR. Well them have some additional inventory. The one girl told me if I want it that bad , go to Tom’s River store. Other than that , their ice cream is very good. But when you feel like lemon ice , that don’t matter
Absolutely love Mrs. Walker’s Ice Cream Parlor in the Lakehurst area of New Jersey. The ice cream is incredibly delicious and surprisingly filling, with rich flavors that hit the spot every time. We’ve actually gone two days in a row because it’s just that good. The staff is friendly and the seating is very accommodating both inside and outside. Whether you’re looking to cool off or just treat yourself, this place is a must-visit. It’s got a great local vibe and you can tell they care about making the experience enjoyable for everyone. Can’t wait to go back again.
Stopped at this, seemingly cute, ice cream spot today. Well, can’t say I’d recommend it.
Upon entering you are dually greeted: one, by employees and two by a smell that is probably a cleaning agent battling age with sweet ice creamy overtones. (Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate a good “dirty spoon” here and there.) One of us ordered a sundae; one, an orange creamsicle-like drink; and one, a root beer Italian ice. The order total was about $17. And upon looking at the three items I saw a scoop of mint ice cream, and orange soda kind of beverage and a scoop of brown ice. The inquiry (as I overheard it): “excuse me, I ordered a sundae.” Clerk:”yeah?” Inquiry continues: “but this is just a scoop of ice cream.” Clerk: “yeah.” I interject: “doesn’t a sundae have toppings?” Clerk: “well, you were only charged for ice cream.” —and with that, I was done.
Obviously there is no care, no service. If you really need ice cream I guess it’ll do but I’d keep to a simple order.
Best thing about this place is the multicolored glass window that I have conveniently included a photo of here to save you the trip.
Best icecream in Lakehurst! Do yourself a favor and stop in this place, ask for kayla or kalynn #dynamicduo . Let be real, where else does your #scooparista draw the mona lisa on your cup?? Keep up the good icecream and great service!!
