My Grandparents and my Mother are all layed to rest here. I have been treated with kindness and respect. The first time I called them. The gentleman that answered the phone knew exactly who my Grandfather (Moses) Murray Greiman was . And that he was buried next to a rabbi that was one of his best friends growing up in the Jewish community of Jersey City. My Grandfather lived in Jersey City for 97 years. He loved that town. And the town loved him. Just hearing that the man at the cemetery knows who my Goompa was makes me feel like my family is among those that have been in the same community for many decades .
In the 80s my grandparents were burried here, in 1997 we buried my dad here and since my uncle and friends of the family. Anytime we had any issue, they fixed everything. Great place to burry a loved one.
Relatively small cemetery near New York City. Near public transportation. In a quiet area. Nice sloping setting and grounds(unless that presents a problem for physical reasons). Seems to be consistently clean and maintained, including the grounds and bathroom/office area. Western view is pleasant, as it looks off to the distance, although there's nothing exciting there. Eastern boundary is bordered by a big apartment building. Sloping, maintained, grassy grounds make for a nice setting.
