New Jersey Root Canal

Dr. Shon! I love this guy! Today was my second root canal with him. I can’t say enough good about him. He is affable, informative, doesn’t make you feel stupid about any questions you might have. He is constantly giving you updates on how the procedure is going; what you might or might not feel, how much time is left for the procedure. The staff is like family. Respectful and very welcoming.They’re very knowledgeable about insurance, Etc. I recommend this place highly to anybody who might be a bit apprehensive about root canal. My experience has been pain free without complications.

Needed to have a root canal on one of my back molars and after not getting sufficiently numb at the start of the procedure with my regular dentist (who is fantastic!), we decided to hold off and he referred me to NJ Root Canal. Apparently getting the lower jaw numb can be a challenge sometimes. I was able to get an appointment at the Ho-Ho-Kus office of NJ Root Canal the next day with Dr. Shon. He took his time administering the local anesthetic, checking in with me each time he went a bit further. Within a minute I could tell I was getting noticeably more numb than the day before. He completing the delivery of the anesthetic and the root canal, while somewhat lengthy, went off with zero pain and no issue whatsoever. Dr. Shon and his assistant were reassuring throughout. Of course, nobody wants to get a root canal, and apparently procedures on the lower back teeth can be a bit more involved, but the whole process went better than I could have expected.

Dr. Shon and his team were great. They explained everything to me during the root canal procedure and had me out of there in less than an hour with no pain or discomfort. I highly recommend New Jersey Root Canal to anyone who wants great reliable no none sense service. They even helped me with a dentist referral to complete the restoration of my tooth. Dr. Shon is awesome! Made having a root canal not so bad at all. Very quick and painless. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and explained along the way. Great experience with the office staff as well. Highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough about Dr Shon and his staff. I was sent to them by my dentist due to a severe abscess . Dentist called and they took me the same day. Amazing Dr , super sweet office staff . Highly recommend them to anyone . The care and compassion. They showed me was above and beyond what you would expect .
