I was there a while ago for a rash. Though Dr Nieves was abrupt and rushed- I think he talked to me for all of 2 min, but what he prescribed worked immediately at first visit, which impressed me greatly so I remembered it to this day. I went to another doc who’s closer to me for another issue recently (purely due to convenience) and though she was much warmer, the treatment didn’t work even though I went back twice and paid two copays. Honestly I rather have successful treatment at first try with no niceties than waste time with friendly chatter and no results. I just booked with Dr Nieves again to
actually get a successful treatment.

It’s hard for me to put into words the impact Dr. Nieves has had on my life. He’s treated me for psoriasis and every other teenage ailment since I was a child. I did light treatments 2-3 times weekly and tried every cream, foam, liquid and gel. He fought tooth and nail with insurance for me to get on biologics as soon as they became available, even though I was young, & I can’t even explain the QOL upgrade this has given me for the past almost 20 years. Imagine the relief a biologic could finally give a self-conscious 18 year old 🥹 Insurance didn’t want to. He made that happen for me.

I recently visited my hometown and stopped in for an appointment and it was the first time I felt seen, heard & cared about in a derm appointment since I moved away over ten years ago :’) He tells you things other doctors just don’t care enough to tell you. I trust his judgement and skill. He is so thorough and intelligent.

In this next stage of life, I asked what I can do for anti-aging and instead of “yes”-ing every expensive treatment I mentioned, he told me I didn’t need any of it. No upsell. I “could get a couple units of Botox if I wanted” but that’s it 😂

And that is so refreshing.

So thank you, Dr. Nieves, from the bottom of my heart, for years of careful and caring treatment. This review is many years overdue. It was so nice to see you today!

I’m so freaking grateful for this doctor!!

Very nice doctor excellent in treat various kinds of skin problems. I had hairy cyst bothering the back of my neck; Dr. Nieves cured it completely by two tries. I also have stubborn fungus at the bottom of my body that come and go for quite a long time; Dr. Nieves gave me medicine letting the problem under good control.

Dr. Nieves is very business like and willing to elaborate. What was especially refreshing was his assistant, Beatrice (hope i spelled correctly). She was awesome....compassionate and understanding of why my condition was upsetting to me. She was the best! I never felt rushed because they were running behind. Hopefully i can get some answers with their help.
