My husband and I are ongoing patients of Dr Wing Quan. Both in our 70’s we are active and in overall good health. However as we age, we frequently experience pain from strain, (grandkids) over exertion (walking, gardening), arthritis etc. Dr Wing Quan’s gentle manipulation techniques provide us both with effective and lasting relief. Her approachability and warm demeanor allow us to feel at ease and to relax. This makes for a pleasant and very positive experience.
We highly recommend treatment with Dr Wing Quan.

KNEE PAIN AND INFLAMMATION AFTER KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY

I was experiencing knee pain and some numbness by my knee since I had knee replacement surgery three fyears and eight months ago. I gave up hope of any recovery until I ran into a nurse in Florida that told me about myofacial release she has done on her own horses. She recommended I research to see if I could find a specialty Dr. that does this on humans. I immediately researched, and found Dr. Wing Quan, DO in Branchburg that had a 5 star rating.

Imagine finding out after after almost four years the reason I cannot climb the stairs, and have pain and inflammtion is because the genicular nerve in the knee was cut during the surgery, and there is a procedure to connect the damaged nerve to another nerve to repair.

I am shocked that my surgeon never told me after I went back to see him 3-4 times to explain my pain and inflamation. I even requested an MRI which Dr. Quan explained may may not show up on the MRI. It didn't! The last time I saw the surgeon he said "what do you want me to do". I asked him "who is the Dr. here?" I asked if a gel injection or cortisone shot could help?". He said "we can give it a try" He probably gave me the shot just to get me out of his office knowing it was not the reason I was experiencing the pain.

Dr. Quan explained this is the only thing that would cause my symptoms. Knowing what Dr. Quan told me, I am NOT surprised that the surgeon told me "this pain and inflamation happens on 2/10ths of one percent of patients. This might be the best you will get".

The surgeon sent me to a back Dr. who asked me "what are you doing here?". I replied "the surgeon said "it is not the joint". The back Dr. said "it is not your back, but wrote me a script for more months of PT (their answer for everything). Was my surgeon more worried about malpractice, then to come up with the answers to determine why I was experiencing these symptons?

After seeing Dr. Quan, I am finally getting some relief, and have restored hope she will continue to manipulate my knee to help me avoid over conpensating walking on my other knee.
After my first visit, she had a script written for a topical made at a compounding pharmacy which is helping the discomfort.

I will continue to work with Dr. Quan while she guides me to the correct Dr. to do an EMG/NCV for further proof of nerve damage/and or guide me to the right surgeon who can repair the damaged nerve.

Dr. Quan is a specialty Dr. most people don't realize even exists! Highly recommend you schedule an appointment to see her!

I have visited Dr. Kimberlee Wing Quan a few times, and each time I leave feeling significantly better. She truly takes the time to get to know you as a whole person and thoughtfully addresses any concerns you may have. She is very informative, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
She has helped me tremendously with my neck, shoulder, and lower back pain, and I was especially impressed that she even checked in on me over the weekend. That level of care and dedication really stands out. I am very impressed with both her professionalism and compassion.

I met with Dr. Wing Quan for pain I have been experiencing for more than 3 months. I found the appointment to be more helpful than the other treatments I have tried so far. I would recommend family members and friends to consult with her for any pain they are experiencing!

Edit 11/25/2025: Dr. Wing Quan has continued to go above and beyond! She is very responsive to follow up questions and treatment. She has provided an approachable path to direct pain relief for me and continues to help me coordinate a plan. She raised the bar for my expectations on standards of care.
