You have to look at their website to see HOW they are paid, where their salaries, operating expenses, come from, and that is from the legal community. They operate under the NJ Supreme Court. Yes, it is frustrating when you get a bad apple lawyer getting over. And the higher up the food chain politically it is very difficult if not impossible to get true justice.
They have helped me * tremendously * over the last two years. They got the small fish in the frying pan, the big catfish would be wonderful, and it would totally destroy the political/legal dynasty in the county I live in.
What this agency needs are lawyers that are willing to take our matters/cases to the next step, and that is either prosecution, court, or settlement. The county bar associations are a waste of time when they are indebted to the politically connected, and you have to repeat yourself over and over.
At 70, my health has suffered from stress and I've had another legal surprise. When a lawyer asks for others to help him destroy a person's credibility because he stole from an estate from someone who worked for 55 years for his income and "basically built Mobil Oil" down in Paulsboro, that tells you volumes why the folks at the OAE have their hands tied. This is into year 26 with me.
The folks that fund this agency NEED the ability to direct us to the right lawyers to resolve our issues once the OAE attorneys have done the DISCOVERY work essentially for them. My health is suffering.
There SHOULD BE a linked website where we can request help from attorneys that are willing to work with the OAE. The days back in the 80's of Dress for Success in this profession are over. There are certain firms that are making money, but you pay for it with your life in those firms. Give us the next step in the legal process and get us attorneys that will help resolve our issues.
