Very helpful staff. I believe there are 5-6 distinct trails here mostly easy or moderate
Staff is helpful. There is a parking fee, I believe $10.00 per vehicle. You can pay cash or credit card. The nature center is really nice to visit when its open.
Whenever I feel like going outdoors,this place comes to minds. It’s a sanctuary when in contact with nature it makes you feel like you are upstate NY or in rural PA. There are several points to see and admire. For example the lake with its little beach. Lots of trails where you can observe the inhabitants living there (birds, rodents, deer). There’s also a creek that fluctuates up and down according to the ocean’s current and has a variety of crabs and water fowl. I am aware that there are campgrounds also but have not done that yet. I will give it 5 star rating. The rangers are always helpful making sure people are taking care of and the rules are being respected. There are several playground for children to go and also a basketball court.
Nice little hike great for beginners little tidbits to read as well about plants and wildlife which I think is Awesome
This is a good state park for short hikes.. the trails are well marked and you have 5 different trails.to choose from
