I've been a patient of this doctor for over 15 years. As far as treatment is concerned, he has always been highly professional and provided appropriate medical care. What I find very upsetting and unprofessional is that I am suddenly learning from office staff that the doctor has retired. I later find out from a eye doctor that needed the dates the referral is active that the entire office is closing and they are no longer responsible for my referrals. I am to say the least very disappointed with how this situation was handled and would have appreciated a formal letter reporting that the practice was closing. I would have expected better.
