I have been going to Dr Levine for years. During that time he has treated my five dogs of varying ages for routine check-ups and several injuries and illnesses, including surgical procedures. He has always been attentive to their needs and gave good care. At times he has called a day or two later to ensure that my dogs were doing better.
We were so fortunate to find Dr. Levine! The veterinarian we originally had retired, I searched our area and read the reviews regarding Paws & Claws, all of them were positive. I called to make an appointment for our pets. I spoke to someone at the front desk and she was very pleasant and was able to give us an appointment the next day.
We arrived for our appointment and met Dr. Levine, upon the initial visit he was very gentle with our pets, asked us a lot of questions regarding their health,(he had a very good bed side manner), asked us if one of our dogs was spayed, I told him
no. We discussed it and agreed it should be done. The day of the surgery Dr Levine was very compassionate and told us he would call us with an update. Once we heard she was awake he told us we could pick her up at the end of the business day. We arrived to pick her up he told us she was a “sweetheart “ and gave us medication to take home.
Dr Levine showed so much compassion and genuinely cared for her wellbeing. He even called not one but 2 days to check on her condition. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Levine is a rare find. He is a thorough veterinarian with a compassionate bedside manner I recently had to have my elderly cat put to sleep, and Dr. Levine gave excellent advice and care. Currently I have 4 rescue pets that come to Dr. Levine. Appointments are easy to make and I especially love the small office environment! I highly recommend this practice. I feel very lucky that I found Dr. Levine as I am only in the area a year.
