I would recommend Maura Lazzo specifically. Speech therapy is not one-size-fits-all, even at the same practice we have a very different experiences.

Our child has apraxia and we have been through several SLPs. It was very hard to find a good one. Speech therapy is supposed to be fun for young kids and they are suppose to piggyback off the child’s interest. I found that as soon as the apraxia diagnosis came in to play fun went out the window.

Maura Lazzo is a phenomenal SLP and is Prompt certified. She makes speech fun and always has a plan. She meets each child where they are at. The complete turnaround that my kid has made in the time that he’s been with Miss Maura has really blown me away. My kid went from being scared to and distrustful of SLP’s and having breakdowns if he had to get into the car to go to speech. To running inside.

My son had physical therapy here and Shauna was absolutely amazing with him. She is very professional kind and warm hearted. My son loved to see her. I saw so much progress in him from going there. I highly recommend performance Pediatrics. I can’t thank them enough!!!!

My grandson has been going for years for OT. The staff have brought him so so far along on his journey. You will never find more people who love their jobs and all of our children. Each person is brilliant and always managed to find a solution for each hurdle. We love and appreciate each of you. ❤️

The staff at PP in Lafayette are wonderful! Highly motived, educated and most of all caring! I can see the amazing progress my child has made and how beneficial it is to each aspect of life! I would without a doubt recommend Performance!

We love Performance Pediatrics! My child received PT as a baby and is back as a child for speech and OT. The level of care and attention he receives is incredible, and we see so many positive changes in him as a result of his therapies. He's more confident, social, and adaptable, which has had an amazing impact on his academic skills. His therapists are patient, kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. He genuinely loves them and is so excited to go each week. Everyone, from the office staff to each therapist we've interacted with, has been professional and has gone above and beyond to provide services to our family. We cannot recommend them enough!
