I used Alltrails to find the entrance to Pigeon Swamp State Park Trail. There is a little inlet with a gate you can park at. Follow the trail in and you can loop the little pond for about a 1.5 mile trail. Very easy to walk and well maintained. I believe there is a trail across the road around the bigger body of water but didn’t have time to walk this today.
Park was extremely easy to find, and plenty of parking was available. The trails are exceptionally maintained, and the kids loved the occasional informational sign about the birds. Easy walk to and from bars too.
This is a nicely maintained park with various statues and informative plaques around to give you some information about the area. Each time we went, the area was impeccably clean, too. Location is convenient to a lot of dining and nightlife, street parking was not hard to find.
