Promise Cleaners II

So disappointed by my experience. I brought a gown to be hemmed and was told that the person who did it was at their Netcong location. So my husband and I got back in the car and drove to Netcong where the gown was pinned up for hemming. The gown was retrieved on the scheduled day. I returned home to try it on and the hem was crooked. We brought it back the next morning and explained to the girl working that the hem was crooked. This conversation took place in Spanish between my husband and the girl. We were told that the woman who does the hemming was in their Mendham location. So again we got back in the car and drove from Netcong to Mendham to have the hem corrected. The gown was finally corrected and brought to the Hopatcong location 2 days before we left for our trip.
No apology, no sorry for the mistake, no offer to discount the $75.00 charge for a hem.
Though it is a bit of a drive, I will be returning to my old seamstress where I know I will receive quality work.

New to the area and though I haven’t had much use for dry cleaning yet, I accidentally washed a pen and had blue ink splattered on a brand new blouse. Called Garden Cleaners minutes later, and brought the damp shirt right in for stain removal. Just picked up my blouse looking good as new! So grateful to have found a wonderful local cleaner so close to home!

I have been going here for years and have always been satisfied with the quality and service. This is a small family business that has been in the community for a long time and that rubs off when you visit as you get a very personal feel.
Recently I picked up a wedding gown that was preserved with my niece and I was very impressed with the results. The gown didn’t take long to get back, was packaged and presented beautifully and all priced fairly.
