My wife and I recently had our roof replaced by Proven Contracting. The project manager, TJ Rockhill, along with 7 obvious roofing professionals showed up right on time and immediately began the project. Their attention to detail was terrific as I watched them cover my home and carefully removed anything that could have been damaged.
All during the job, TJ kept us apprised of all aspects of the work while it was being done. He ran the job with authority and respect for his crew which appeared to be mutual.
The crew of 7 were especially respectful to us and our property.TJ kept us informed and texted us photos of the work while it was being done so there were no surprises.
When the job was finished our property was thoroughly cleaned and we had a a beautiful new roof.Proven Contractors will give you a smooth experience from the quote to job completion.

Proven did a fantastic job on our summer home on LBI. We started out wanting to get a new roof and skirt around the bottom of the house. However the more we did the more it was apparent to us that we needed other work to be done. In the end we also had the house re-sides with James Hardie siding, new gutters, new front entrance door and screen door. 3 new slider doors, a new outdoor shower, spiral staircase and so much more. It’s a new house.
The Proven team not only did a professional job but they came when they said they would, they kept to their stated schedule and were quick and easy to communicate with when necessary. I would highly recommend them for any work that is necessary for your shore homes.

I just had my roof replaced on 11/21/25. First, let me say the presentation of the process by Corey was extremely through. Within 24 hours and going over other quotes, I decided on Proven as our roofer.
The crew arrived promptly at 7:30 and immediately began to cover all my landscaping in order to prevent damage. From there, tarp was hung from the roof to ground in order to dispense of the old shingles in one area of the driveway where they had a dumpster delivered earlier. I have a split roof, everything from the entire roof was pushed to that area which slid down the tarp onto the driveway. Once the entire roof was taken apart, an e inspection began of the plywood from under the shingles. My roof happened to be 40 years old and had the original shingles. I had originally 8 square metal vents for the attics, these were taken out in order to put in ridge venting over the entire house. The plywood had to be replaced where the vents were, I had no problem with this change for the better which will now consist of much better airflow in the attics.
Refurbishment began with the install of a Leak Barrier, next a drip edge , and the entire roof with Felt buster Underlayment. I had chosen the color of my shingles before hand to match my original color. The match was perfect. Finally, the shingles went on in systematic fashion. The crew worked together in an amazing pace... Might I say that clean up during the day was on going.... The final piece was to install the shingles over the ridge vents.
On site was a supervisor all day (Mike) who continuously went up on the roof to inspect the process and take pictures.
The operation completed and the final clean up began. I was thoughly impressed with this final process. My lawn was raked picking up and loose materials. Magnet rollers were used on the lawn to pick up any loose nails, Mike had a magnetic wand that he went over all the shrubs, driveway, walkway, and stone beds. If it was not for the dumpster in the driveway, you would have never know they were there.
The roof looks fantastic. The job was done extremely professionally, the cleanul process was impeccable.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Proven for your roofing needs.
Let me also say that I had received a number of quotes, basically, all within the same amount of money within a couple hundred of each other. But seeing the contract, that Proven is certified to GAF the maker of all the materials utilized and that a warranty would also be through GAF, I made my choice which I believe was the wise one.
The warranty is for 25 years.... This includes 50 years of non pro-rated coverage on labor and materials backed by GAF....

We used Proven Contracting for our new roof first, which was done timely and came out great! We then used for our new siding, needless to say its like a brand new house! We are getting so many compliments in the neighborhood! Def love supporting locally owned companies and highly recc the team at Proven Contracting!

If you need a new roof, call Proven. From first meeting to finished product, the team has been incredible to work with. Took the time to answer all of our questions, explained everything thoroughly. Corey was great with communication and took actual photos of our roof to show us all the issues. (Other companies didn’t even get on the roof to see what was going on). The day of team worked so fast and efficiently, cleaned up everything when finished, and Michael kept us in constant communication with all updates and progress. Even came back the next day to check for additional cleanup! Highly highly recommend.
