After doing extensive solar research and meeting with several companies, I decided to go with Public Service Solar, it was honestly an easy decision. They hit all the check box’s that were important to me:

    -Local company with NO subcontractors
    -Extended warranty
    -Responsive staff
    -Excellent solar panel options
    -Included Enphase consumption monitor
    -Outstanding pricing

I worked with several PSS folks throughout the process. Tony and Bruce were especially knowledgeable and responsive. They answered every single question or concern I had (my house has a fully automatic standby generator).

The crew and electrician that did the installation did an amazing job - it looks as good as solar panels can! The included critter guard is both practical AND adds a clean finished look (hides any wires).

They completed the install within the estimated time frame, handled all permits and scheduled inspections. They also filed all required documents for my PTO and SREC credits.

I love data and smart home apps, it’s awesome that PSS provides the Enphase consumption monitor at no cost- other companies were charging for this or just not including it. It gives you total insight of your electric usage, solar production and your total consumption (energy usage).

If you are considering solar (why wouldn’t you) I highly recommend going with PSS.

PSS is an example of top notch customer service paired with flawless execution. They were not the cheapest company out of the bunch but their reviews and communication sold us. Well worth every penny!

From the planning phase to the roof replacement to the solar installation we were met with clear explanations and reasonable timelines. They promised to get us finished before the deadline and got us there even earlier than we expected. Communication with Tony and his team was clear, concise, and very pleasant. They took the time to answer all of our 56 questions! They have been very responsive to every email and concern. We were recommended Public Service Solar by not one but two family members and will continue the trend.

You can not go wrong with PSS. Book them with confidence!

Public Service Solar is a best quality, experienced, and honest solar installer. I was impressed with everything they did for me.
They explained very well the initial estimate and then the final quote. They knew NJ and Edison power rules and regulations. They got my panels installed AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. They had the engineer explain the design and what I should expect from the solar panels.
I got a 15 panel installation. I did my research: the panels they used were the among best in the industry (Maxeon). The inverters were also among the best, if not the best. (EnPhase IQ8HC. Not all EnPhase inverters can handle 440 watts!). Public Service Solar has the best warrantee I could find, and the equipment they installed had the best warranty, too.
I’m recommending Public Service Solar to my sister in law.

    Equipment:
Maxeon Solar Technologies SPR-MAX3-410-BLK with 40 year Manufacturer
    Warranty
Inverters: 15 Enphase Energy IQ8HC with 25 year Manufacturer Warranty
Mounting Hardware: Iron Ridge Mounting Hardware with 25 year Manufacturer Warranty.

Public Service Solar delivered exactly as they said they would, from replacing the new roof, installing the panels and following through on all administrative tasks. If I had a question about anything, they were quick to respond and continue to do so almost a year after the installation. I am very happy with the company and the monthly savings I see since the switch was initiated. I truly pay PP&L $15 a month for my usage fees, that's it. So far the winter temperatures have not changed anything. I am glad we made the choice of going solar and signing with Public Service Solar.

I decided to finally pursue solar because our bills were getting insane. I did quite a bit of research on the equipment, the companies, and the warranties. I was definitely happy with the particular equipment Public Service Solar offered as well as the warranty. The company also has a very good reputation and good reviews.

The whole process with them was excellent. I was very impressed with Mark and his communication with me throughout the whole process. He was very thorough with explaining everything and he was also very kind and polite to us! I really appreciate that! Never once did i feel pressured. The initial process was very thorough and I could tell that the gentleman doing the initial inspection was way more thorough than other companies and was definitely a tradesman or atleast knowledgeable of the trade. Most of the other companies people didn't understand electricity at all and had very limited knowledge of the equipment surprisingly. That was definitely a selling point for me.

The installation was very neat and the crew did a great job. Joe the foreman was a very nice guy and is obviously meticulous with his crews work, which is also very important to me! The turn around time for the process was definitely quick and the price was very competitive. Other companies may be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Public Service Solar wasn't the priciest company either, good middle ground from all my estimates. My gut feeling by the way they conduct business is they'll be here to stay.
    I definitely recommend this company!
