His knowledge and warmth was extremely comforting during this extremely difficult time. We also appreciated how attentive and communicative he was throughout the whole experience. I was not only beyond sad, but also scared when I realized that my ailing mother, who was in the hospital, was not getting better and that the inevitable was near. All I knew about a funeral home was what I heard from friends: they are out there to exploit your tragedy and take your money. Matt Freeman, the manager of the Raritan Bay Funeral Services, and his team, disproved it.
Matt helped me grief and took care of my mother’s, Maria Crisan, funeral arrangements. He worked with my budget and was always available to address my concerns with compassion and respect. He accommodated my requests for the service and always put my mind to ease. Despite having his vacation planned with his family the day before the burial, Matt took care of every detail, and left me in the highly competent care of Diana and Joe. Everything worked perfectly: from the religious service at the funeral home, to the driving and arrival to the cemetery in the time allowed...
Matt, in every interaction that we had you treated me with professionalism, respect and care. After our first conversation, I knew that I could trust you to best handle my mother’s funeral and I cannot thank you enough. With all the sorrow, I find comfort that when the unfortunate but inevitable situation of losing a loved one might come up, I know that I have someone to rely on for help. Matt’s professionalism and comfort during the most difficult time in our life was truly unmatched. From the moment my family and I walked into his funeral home we felt an immense amount of peace. He answered our calls at any time of the day and made sure to give us as much information about the process as possible. He was super accommodating on the day of my fathers viewing and made sure to be available at all times throughout the night. Matt goes above and beyond for his clients and it is obvious he takes great pride in the type of customer service he provides. Matt is pretty much a one man team which made the entire experience feel much more intimate and private.
