Royal Bakery

This is a charming little bakery. I enjoy the staff. The lady, whose name I wasn’t able to get, was delightful. I went in to get cannoli but got curious about the other deserts especially the donuts. She said her favorite was plumb donut and I was hesitant to try it so she just put it in my bag to go for free. I absolutely enjoyed the donut! It is amazing! A must try for those who haven’t had a plumb donut.

I originally went in simply because they advertised that they sold Mr. Dee's chili (which I did purchase). But I left with a cinnamon cheesecake too! My four oldest children, my wife, and I were *very* happy to enjoy this for dessert! Will definitely come back! The donuts caught my eye...

Royal Bakery, Sayreville, NJ

Royal Bakery in Sayreville is one of the local gems in our area. We visited in the afternoon, so the selection was a bit limited. Despite that, the girl there was very helpful and answered all our questions.

My wife enjoyed the pastries she bought, even though she wasn't familiar with them. The only downside was that the cheesecake tasted different from what we're used to.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the staff's friendliness made up for the limited selection.

I had been passing by this spot for some time now. Whenever I was in Sayreville to do some fishing. Today some friends and I decided to stop and we were glad we did. We got some brownies, donuts, a few Danish (OMG) and a pie (OMG). The Ladies there were as sweet as the treats we bought. While there we asked that a few slices be cut from the pie before boxing it, to enjoy on the drive home and they obliged. The pie was delicious and so was the Danish. They were friendly and had a light hearted sense of humor.
It won't be our last time stopping in.
