Oniel is the best barber in Jersey. Precise and lethal with the straight razor - not a hair out of place. When he isn’t around, I don’t even get a cut. I trust very few people with my beard and have tried at least 80+ barbershops in the state during my travels - he’s the best for sure.
Quan is an Awesome Barber /Sylist at the Raritan Location my son is 14 and at his age he’s very picky this place is top notch !! Friendly as well
First time visiting the barbershop today, I booked an appointment online with Oniel. I was immediately impressed by several things:
1. The shop looks great: clean, well-decorated with lots of sports-themed touches, and bright, welcoming lighting.
2. The atmosphere was on point: everyone was friendly, and the overall vibe was really positive.
3. Oniel delivered a top-tier cut: the fade was sharp and clean, and the trim on top was exactly what I was looking for. He blended the back down to the neckline perfectly.
Will definitely be coming back. Great first experience. 👌
I’ve visited this salon three times now, each time hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, I’ve left disappointed every single time. Most recently, I booked with [Barber's Name] specifically because I thought returning to the same person would help ensure consistency and a better understanding of the haircut I wanted.
I even showed a clear reference picture and gave simple instructions—no skin fade. Despite that, I still ended up with a skin fade. He seemed to believe it matched the photo, but the end result was noticeably different from what I expected. The attempt to “fix” it by trimming more only made things worse.
I truly don’t understand why it’s so difficult to deliver a straightforward haircut when both a visual reference and verbal instructions are provided. I don’t take writing negative reviews lightly, but after three disappointing visits, I feel compelled to share my honest experience.
At this point, I’m a little hesitant to return to the same place again, as I no longer feel confident that my preferences will be understood or followed. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and service consistency moving forward.
