I'm an avid cyclist, and some time ago I began suffering from intense lower back pain. I was considering surgery after seeing an orthopedic surgeon. Dorota, the owner, convinced me to try Bikram Yoga, and I've been practicing this along with other styles at Yoga Youniverse. I'm now riding my bike, kayaking and skiing (X-country) and thoughts of surgery have gone out the window!
Wanted to give a shout-out for the Tuesday intro class taught by Joy. It took years for me to convince my husband that yoga could help with his running injuries, but after two classes with Joy, he's a devoted convert. She takes things slowly and focuses on proper alignment to avoid injury.
I’ve been going to this studio for several years now and I love everything about it- the teachers give personalized attention and make you feel comfortable and at ease, while pushing you. The studio is large and clean and offers several different types of classes- vinyasa, arial, bikram, even kids classes. The owner, Dorota, Genuinely loves what she does- and cultivates a feeling of inclusivity and warmth in the studio. I ALWAYS leave her class feeling amazing..It’s addictive!
This place is great! Offering hot, non hot, and warm yoga, the instructors are very pleasant. I feel so relaxed after leaving and it is quite the workout! Clean facility and very convenient with their online schedule. Dorota is so passionate about what she does and really encourages you to build in your study regardless of your experience with yoga.
