We recently switched insurance providers and unfortunately had to change the girls' pediatrician after 15 years of wonderful care. Dr. Lerner of the Rutgers Health Group came highly recommended by our family. We had our very first visit today, and it was amazing.
We were able to check in a week prior online before we arrived; the location has plenty of parking and was easy to find. We had to have our temperatures taken before entering the building as a covid precaution, and even behind the masks, the staff members were professional, helpful and friendly.
There were hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere, and a very beautiful and clean waiting room with a huge TV. It was very comforting to be in a clean place with my kids during this time. We rarely leave the house, and I was relieved to be safe. (It was cleaner than MY HOUSE in there! LOL)
Finally, as for Dr. Lerner himself, he exceeded our very high expectations. Dr. Lerner and his colleagues took their time getting to know me and my girls. He addressed issues that their old pediatrician had not, and we came up with goals and strategies to improve the girl's health. It feels nice to know that we have a great pediatrician; any parent knows how important that is. I'm so happy with the care we received at Rutgers Health today with Dr. Lerner.
