I can’t imagine going through my pregnancy and labor without the incredible team at Sage Midwifery.
Cindy and Claire cared for me with such tenderness, wisdom, and compassion every step of the way. The bond and trust we built throughout this journey are beyond words — truly priceless and forever in my heart. They held space for me in moments of fear, lifted me up when I doubted myself, and guided me with so much love and reassurance.
My labor was everything I hoped it could be — peaceful, empowering, and surrounded by unwavering support. As I left the birthing center, my heart was overflowing with gratitude. I knew then that if I ever do this again, it would be with them, without a doubt.

Cindy and Roxie are both excellent providers. I am a L&D nurse and I sought them out for my first pregnancy because I wanted to deliver at the birth center. Unfortunately I had a complicated pregnancy, but Cindy was still able to manage my care in the hospital. I then had a very sad stillbirth at 25 weeks and Roxie delivered me in the hospital. I then had a miscarriage and now I’m pregnant again. I choose to still use Sage because I’ve had extensive testing and none of my poor outcomes were related to their care or management of my pregnancies. In fact, I received more 1:1 care working with these wonderful women and I would recommend them to anyone who is eligible to be under their loving care.

Update: I successfully delivered my second living child in the birthing center with both Cindy and Roxie. It was an amazing experience and their care was supportive, patient, and loving as always.

Cindy and Roxie are the absolute best. The quality of care we received with them is unmatched! They are equal parts knowledgable, compassionate, and kind. They take the time to get to know you, your birth wishes, and your family! My son even spent some of our appointments seated on Roxie’s lap- that’s how comfortable he had become!

When it came time to deliver, I honestly could not imagine my delivery with anyone else! We switched to Sage 28 weeks into the pregnancy after experiencing a vanishing twin at 12 weeks. My former providers made me feel like the loss was my/my body’s fault and I knew I would never feel safe enough to deliver with them. Cindy and Roxie made me feel very safe and supported through out the birth, even when I was sure I couldn’t do it!

We will definitely return if we have anymore children!

I am sure that with track records like Roxie’s and Cindy’s in the world of midwifery, they are not lacking at all in great publicity. Still, since the day we brought our second baby boy home (about a week ago), it’s been on my to-do list to write a testimonial about these two, because they are just that good. They care about babies AND women and it is evident from the very beginning of pregnancy. They always took their time with me at appointments, willing to answer all of my questions, offer encouragement, and to get to know me, too. I don’t underestimate the power of a relationship forged over months of pregnancy to help a woman labor and deliver her baby unhindered by feelings of fear, mistrust or insecurity.

With labor in full swing, Roxie met me and my husband at the birth center at 3 am and gently guided me through the next 6 hours, knowing exactly when to challenge me and when to simply let my body do the work it knows how to do. Cindy arrived in time for the baby to be born, and having both women there for the birth and the following hours was such an encouragement to me. They both have such dynamic gifts, and I feel so blessed to have had both of them present.

Throughout labor and in the hours after delivery, I kept thinking of how (sadly) rare an experience like mine probably is among birthing women: to feel absolutely safe and cared for. It is my sincere hope that I get to work with Cindy and Roxie again for any future pregnancies. I thank God for them!
