Dr. Salem Samra is an extraordinary doctor and surgeon. I was very apprehensive about surgery on my neck for a benign lipoma that had grown a great deal. Dr. Samra gave me lots of information about the situation, never pressured me either way, and patiently answered each of my many questions. He and his team always made me feel incredibly comfortable and informed. I chose to have the surgery since the lipoma started putting pressure on my esophagus, and I’m so glad Dr. Samra was performing the surgery. Following the surgery, Dr. Samra kept checking on me and the scar to ensure all healed well. Not only did everything go smoothly, he did an incredible job. I never expected to get compliments on a scar, but I have a few friends with personal experience with neck surgery. They kept saying what an amazing job he did. I have to agree. Thank you, Dr. Samra!

I was recommended to this office by my dermatologist to have two precancerous moles removed from my abdomen. Dr. Sal was fantastic. He was very patient, explained the procedure thoroughly, and was open to answering any questions. He made me feel very comfortable during the procedure, checking in on me throughout. Everything healed really nicely with minimal scarring and I am confident with continued scar care that it won’t be noticeable when fully healed.

Let me begin by saying the conclusion: we love this practice, which includes its office (Holmdel location), staffs, and of course our provider Dr. Salem Samra!

We see doctor in the Holmdel office. The office is very clean and neat, all the decorations are very appropriate to its practice, including the reading materials on the desk. Not like in some medical office, some random People’s magazines laying on the desk or in a wall rack. Their reading materials informs its practice, and are always so neatly put on the table. All the exam rooms are very comfortable.

The staffs are just very nice and polite to interact with. They always have smiles on their faces, interacting with my kids. They are organized, always reminded me with our appointments. Communication and instructions are very clear. They just know what they are doing.

Saving the best to the last, Dr. Salem Samra is just a best doctor in his area. Our son was born with a non-functional extra digit. We went to see Dr. Samra when son was less than one month old. He was the just the most gentle and patient doctor I have ever dealt with. He has written papers on this condition. He explained the condition to us, how to treat and everything related to it and the surgery to remove the extra digit. He shared his expertise with us and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed. He has the best bedside manner. He even shared surgery photos with us. His clinical skills are just awesome, surgery was quick and the wound looked good. He was also able to operate the surgery and prevent possible nerve pain since there is a nerve into the extra digit. My son did so well after the surgery. Now his hand just looks perfect. I just wish Dr Samra is our regular doctor that we can keep seeing on a regular basis. I highly recommend Dr. Samra as a plastic and hand surgeon!
