San Remo Restaurant & Deli

San Remo pizza is an average pizza spot. If you work in the area to where you only have to drive a few minutes, I’d go here for lunch. This is not a spot that you’re going to drive a half hour for because the pizza is that good. On a 1 to 10 score I would put this at a 6.9. Again, nothing to write home about, but it is serviceable in getting the job done for an OK lunch. The pizza is good enough to wear. You don’t have to doctor it up to cover up a bland tasteless slice. 2 plain slices and a can of soda for $6

Very friendly staff. They have a 2 plain slices and a drink for $6 which is a great deal. Ordered a couple times from here before and the service has always been quick and friendly with good prices.

San Remo is hands down one of the best pizzerias in North Plainfield. Pizza, Dinners, even their new Fat Sandwich’s never fail to be filled with flavor. Although a bit weary at first, because of new ownership, everything is the same! And dare I say better. Super friendly family always there to greet you, always clean, everything you could ask for.
If you’re anywhere near North Plainfield, definitely check out San Remo, you won’t be disappointed!

We've been customers of San Remo since they opened in the 90s. Now that the original owners have sold to new people we were a little leary about trying them. We've been there twice already and have been pleasantly surprised. They still have Steve the driver who has been there forever, as well as the kitchen guys. The new owners are very friendly and are excited to make new customers. I highly recommend the new San Remo. If you haven't been there yet, please stop by. The food is good and the owners are really nice people. Give them a try.

Excellent pizza, the best in New Jersey My husband had a small problem with this restaurant, but I loved the speed and excellent way of resolving it. Excellent people, Don Francisco and his daughter. excellent people who put their customers first
