I've gotten the bento here before which wasn't so bad. But I got the spam musbi today and the rice was so salty. Like it burned going down. The spam is plenty salty so there is no need to add that much salt to the rice. Thinnest egg I've ever seen in a musbi. No joke like 90% of it is unbearably salty rice. Idk if it's always this salty or someone made a mistake in the recipe today.
Sang's kitchen offers dine in meal and to-go bento boxes. They also have bottle drinks. I usually get takoyaki and bulgogi rice bento. Love the flavorful and the portion. Great for next day lunch.
It's located inside food court so many tables and places to sit. It gets crowded during lunch time.
The staff is always nice and friendly. Quick line to pay and out on the way.
I've always noticed Sang's Kitchen when checking out at Hmart because they have a nice variety of pre-made food. They also have snacks like onigiri, and Korean corn dogs. We decided to grab a quick lunch at the food court one Saturday at around 2. Hubby ordered from here and got the spicy chicken bento box. For $15, it was totally worth it. There was so much food. I ended up eating more of his meal than my own. It came with chicken stir-fried with veggies, rice, salad, fish cake, a gyoza, cabbage pancake (this was the worst item because it was dry and mealy), japchae, miso soup, and a side of banchan of pickled daikon and the yellow pickled daikon. The chicken was flavorful, and they use dark meat, which I prefer. It was a pretty sizeable portion. Even after we both ate a good amount, we still had some leftovers.
Sang's Kitchen seems like a great place for a grab and go (haven't tried this yet), but don't sleep on their freshly made bento boxes! Especially if you're hungry!
Sang’s is one of the restaurants in Little Ferry Hmart’s food court. They have a variety of Korean dishes including Ramen, bulgogi, teriyaki, bento box, hot dog, corn dogs and few more. They also have prepackaged ready to go dishes in front of the counter. Looks really pretty and colorful.
I tried the spicy korean seafood. They put plenty of shrimp, mussels, clams, squid in the ramen. The suloip is really spicy. Overall a good ramen.
I bought the prepackaged takoyaki and bunch of onigiri. I liked them more than the ramen. Takoyaki was still warm and soft, tasted excellent. The onigiri was soft with a crunchy layer of seaweed wrapped around.
I enjoyed Sang’s a lot, will probably buy meals from them when we go for Hmart shopping.
