I love Japanese food..... what i don't like was the price. $10 for a bowl: chicken, beef, shrimp,etc. Some people would say that's not bad, I'd beg to differ. I've been to places where it's half that and more food. I don't remember where the BETTER place was, so I'm sorry I can't direct you to them.
Food was decent however the lettuce is old or some sort.
I love Sarku Japan! Especially this one in Bayonne. The place is always clean (spotless!) the food always tastes good and the staff is always super friendly and sweet! Never had a problem and I’ve been coming here for almost a year now.
I was first introduced to Sarku in Bayonne a few years ago, and back then, it was a pretty decent fast food-type Japanese place. I've been there a number of times since, and I found myself more disappointed every time. The food is mediocre at best, the choices are limited, and the atmosphere is somewhat pedestrian as well.
Clean facility and welcoming atmosphere for a quick bite. Specializing in Japanese and sushi dishes. Price for the quantity and quality of meal provided is worth the price. Located a shopping plaza with limited parking but quick access to major roads. I enjoyed my meal here and would return.
