I haven't been to the library in years ... Nicole, the library assistant, was very accommodating and welcoming in signing me up for a library card. She gave me a quick verbal tour of the library and also went over the policies and information. I'm looking forward to getting back into reading and visiting the library. Thanks for the hospitality !

I usually enjoy bringing my children to the library — it’s a great local resource and always a fun learning experience for us. However, my most recent visit was disappointing.

As we were leaving, a staff member from the children’s area approached me in a way that felt accusatory, asking whether my children had scattered books on the table and mentioning the play area hadn’t been cleaned up. I found the interaction uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially since I always encourage my children to be respectful and tidy.

Additionally, while checking out books, I had a handful that I decided not to take. Instead of offering assistance, the staff member at the front desk, Linda, made it clear she expected me to return them myself, even though it was evident my hands were full. Unfortunately, this isn’t my first negative interaction with her — she’s consistently come across as unpleasant, which detracts from the welcoming environment a library should have.

It’s disappointing, because this library is conveniently located and has great potential. I hope future visits reflect a more supportive and community-oriented atmosphere, especially

I can't say enough good things about our local library. It's a clean, well-organized space that truly serves as the heart of our community. The librarians are incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, whether you're looking for a specific book or need assistance with resources.

The children’s section is a standout feature—it's creatively designed, with a fantastic selection of toys and books that keep my daughter engaged and excited about reading. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into making this library a special place for everyone. Highly recommended!

Me and my daughter (7 months old) went here for their summer program every Monday and Wednesday morning. They did story time and played kid songs. Even I had fun. They take a break until some time in September but we will definitely be back for some fun.!
