I've been here many times. Always have friendly staff and since it's at the beginning of the boardwalk, right after Ortley Beach, it's very peaceful. The owner is authentic and down to earth. I've even gotten breakfast items for my fiance at dinner time (that's how she is) and the food was fresh off the grill, not something sitting in a hot hold all day.
If you're coming for the Seaside Heights boardwalk experience, start here with a slice and a drink, go back to your left to the beach access, then when the sun sets, go back here and walk the boards (or ride the sky ride.) It will start you off on a great adventure.
I recently visited Shore Slice Pizza and decided to try their fried Oreos. Overall, they were pretty good, though I found them to be a bit undercooked and doughy. Despite this, the experience was still enjoyable, largely thanks to the fantastic staff. They were friendly, attentive, and provided very good service, which made the visit worthwhile. I would definitely consider going back, hoping the fried Oreos are cooked to perfection next time!
All the way from Ohio, we HAD to try Shore Slice. Joe, the owner, was so kind to us, made sure we had everything we needed and took such good care of us. The food was AMAZING. Some of the best pizza, garlic knots, fries and cheese curds I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!
