Freddy's Lake House Bar And Grill

This place is awesome. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is excellent. I definitely recommend enjoying a meal at Freddy's. I had an old fashioned from the bar which came out perfect.

We went to Freddy’s close to 5pm on Saturday night. We opted for outdoor seating. We were immediately seated, and our drink orders were taken. Service was very friendly. We played cornhole while we waited. Food came out quick. Our table got mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders as appetizers. As entrees, the MVP burger, Reuben, chicken quesadilla, and the shish tawook platter with rice. It was delicious, hot, and fresh. Price point for the food was good. This will definitely be a new favorite place of ours!

Mixed experience. The main food was good, but there were some other issues (maybe will get better with time). Service was a bit slow given it wasn't busy, cocktails were not made correctly at all and had to be sent back, and we ordered a chocolate lava cake only to receive it ice cold....

What a fabulous place! You absolutely have to try this new restaurant in Stanhope: Freddy's Lake House Bar & Grill. The owners are genuinely amazing people, and they make the most authentic Mediterranean food. I wanted to try everything. There are so many options to choose from that are healthy, fresh, and delicious. The service was superb, everything was newly renovated, and the atmosphere is fun and gorgeous, right on the lake.
I am gluten-free and I'm always looking for new restaurants that family can eat at safely. I was THRILLED to learn they have a completely separate gluten-free menu available with over 40 items that are gluten-free. This is almost unheard of: they even have a separate dedicated gluten-free fryer.
Wow! (If anyone has cross-contamination sensitivity, this is the place to go!) I will be back in a couple days with another friend to review more of the menu, and I will be hosting an event here next month as well.

My friends & I enjoyed dinner on the deck during a lovely evening. This place is on a small lake with great views w/plenty of parking. Our service was fantastic from start to finish. The menu is geared towards Mediterranean / American food with reasonable prices. We enjoyed the complimentary pickles & olives & then ordered a bunch of food to graze: Hummus (outrageous), Calamari (very tender but we weren't a fan of all the peppers in it nor the marinara), Falafel (great texture), Taboule (great serving & delish), Kibbeh (it was OK, we didn't care for it as much as we expected), grilled shrimp entree (loved the rice, shrimp were overcooked), Cheesecake (yum) & Baklava (pretty good) along with several cocktails. We wished they had Baileys but perhaps they will get it after their soft opening is over. The outdoor chairs are very hard & uncomfortable ; they need cushions. We met the owners & they were so nice. Freddy cooks & his wife is the hostess. They made us feel very welcome & we will certainly be back!!
