Not only is this store the perfect place to find you next read - the staff is fantastic. They are better than having Goodreads or Amazon reviews as they take the time to understand what you like, what characters are of interest and then make recommendations! Perfect for finding your next series.
Additionally, I love bringing my grandchildren in and letting them wander through to find that perfect book and a gift to go with it.

Beautiful bookstore! They have a large selection! Also they are carrying local businesses items too! Perfect place for shopping for Christmas gifts!
The new location is amazing. The book selection is extensive, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner has a real love for books, and was happy to make book recommendations since I was looking for a gift. They have other fun merchandise as well. There are cozy areas to relax while you decide on your purchase, and the children's play area in the children's book section is also very nice. They even have a rewards program. This will now be my go to place for all of my book purchases!
Under the new ownership, Black Dog Books provides a real life portal into BookTok. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, from what you would expect of an independent bookstore, combined with an awesome selection. The store even offers request and special orders as well if you’re looking for something specific. Every Saturday the owner brings in their black dog, Anya! #ShopLocal
Great store! Love that there’s such a large selection of plenty of genres and cute gifts as well. Staff is friendly & helpful, and the shop has such comfy cozy vibes. Love a great indie bookstore, and Black Dog Books is one I’ll definitely be back to 🖤
