this church has been a beacon for me and our families for many years. the fathers here are true shepherds.
most of our children were baptized here and the priests have always been so knowledgeable and willing to explain and discuss church history and doctrine. the facilities are also very accommodating. there’s a great hall downstairs that we have meals together in after events.
I have been attending mass at SMSA for the past couple of years after a 40+ year absence from the Coptic Orthodox Church. I find the priests there are truly loving shepherds of Christ's flock. They are loving, faithful and true stewards of the WORD and the rules of the church. If it wasn't for their faithful stewardship, I would not have gone back. Nor would I have understood or believed, based on biblical and church teachings, how participating in the sacrament of the Eucharist without proper preparation and belief in the transformation of the bread and wine to the living body and blood of Jesus Christ results in eternal damnation. I recommend attendance at this church to anyone who is looking to strengthen their faith in God based on true Christian principles.
Great priests, congregation and sermons. It is an excellent community church that I highly recommend you visit.
