When you’re at the end of the line, you’re at the Starting Point Bar and grill. Tucked under the Bayonne Bridge, SPBG offers honest food, a friendly staff, warm atmosphere, and an authentic Jersey experience. Bergen Point’s best spot, is a true Bayonne treasure. Bayonne has started its strip mall revolution, but SPBG is a throwback to much better dining experience. As a seasonal traveller to Bayonne, I hope to visit this amazing place for years to come. Best bar pie around! Very extensive menu.

Excellent Bar Pie. Haven't had one so good in quite a while. Ive been driving by here consistently for the past 5 years and never stopped in. Tried lunch today and the bar pie was great. Prices also very fair.

By far, the BEST thin crust pizza in NJ. Good sauce, and good balance to cheese ratio. Wings are amazing.
They have a beautiful outdoor area they do not use and has become a bit of an eyesore, but you can't see it anyway.
Beer options are not great if you want an IPA or stout. Otherwise, they have the usual choices. They dont really do complicated or not well-known cocktails.
Good place to watch sports, eat great food, and the staff is super friendly!

Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.

Great place . Really good food .thin pub style pizza …French fries and cheesesteaks that remind me of the boardwalk in seaside.
