I don't know much about the summit NJ, firehouse, but I found 2 plaques with interesting photos depicting a few gentlemen, I'd assume that it has to do with this fire house I just thought I'd share the seven photos, I found them laying on top of trash in Easton PA

We had a Carbon Monoxide alert at our building today! They responded cool calm & collected. Made a thorough inspection & testing of every Tenancy with the assistance of the Gas company (which they called in).
The Fire Fighters & Officers took the time to explain everything they were doing & the results. They determined the source & rectified the situation so once again everyone is safe! I can't say enough on how Great these Guys & this Department are! We are so lucky to Have the Summit FD (as well as the PD) here to protect us! Please Appreciate & Support your Local FD & PD professionals! They are here to protect "YOU" the public!
