After seeing the Doughfather's Pizzeria - Restaurant on the news, I had to check it out. So, while out with my mom, we stopped by & ordered a few "grandma" pizza slices. Mom & I were more then pleased with our food. The pizza was delicious!! Everything about it was perfect......the crust, the sauce, the cheese & the basil👌 We had bottled water with our meal. And guess what? The bottled water had the restaurant's logo on their label, I loved it. The entire restaurant decor was themed with the Godfather movie. The smell of other dishes being prepared, filled the air with hunger inducing effects. You want to try everything! The folks working there were so friendly & polite, mom & I could have spent more time chatting with them. We grabbed some menus & business cards before leaving while promising our return. I give the Doughfather a 5☆
I have to say I went to dinner tonight With two of my girlfriends the atmosphere the service the food was absolutely phenomenal. What I ordered was not on the menu and they absolutely bent over backwards and made me what I wanted and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back here again very very good experience highly recommended.
just wow utterly blown away. came to the area to pick something up from marketplace and guy didnt show, this was on my list so stopped in for 2 slices to try. both margherita and vodka slices phenomenal- perfect slices. the tomato sauce vodka sauce and cheese are all so high quality and flavorful. youre telling me a fresh pie would be even better? one of the best slices ive had anywhere after years of trying pizza in nj/nyc. $4.50 a slice not even bad
The Doughfather is a bit of a gem located in Monroe. The small unassuming spot has some great pizza with specialty pies avail and a host of other Italian dishes and pasta entrees. We had the eggplant rollatini and a meat lovers pizza with sausage, meatballs, pepperoni and BACON.
Our server was pretty cool and very attentive to our needs. With a TON of local pizza and Italian options throughout NJ, the Doughfather deserves a visit from any and all pizza lovers!
