I checked this property out yesterday, and after speaking with them on the phone today, I just want to say how greedy these people are. Their website doesn’t state anything clearly at all. They show that they offer 6–12 month lease terms, and their advertisement says you get the first month free if you sign a 12-month lease. So they have options from 6 to 12 months, that should simply mean the tenant don’t get the free month if choose a 6-month lease. But the woman on the phone said that if signing for 6 months, I have to pay an extra $300 per month — and this was never mentioned online. I’m curious, why not charge an extra $500 or even $1000 then?

I have lived at the Gardens at Raritan for the past year. It is a very safe neighborhood; I do not recall a single moment when I felt unsafe while living here. The location of the complex is very convenient for anyone with a commute. The entrance of the complex is on route 18, and from there it is only a minute or so to Route 1, Route 27, and the NJ turnpike. It is also possible to travel into the heart of New Brunswick from here by walking or cycling. Whether you are a student or a working professional, this connection to major roadways makes travel very convenient.

The units of the complex are well kept, and the maintenance team is very responsive. If any inconveniences occur - a very rare thing to happen- the staff is quick to notifiy residents and equally quick to arrange repairs. The grounds are also maintained exceptionally well.

One of the smaller but still important considerations for some is that of parking. This is not an issue here. There is always plenty of parking available on the complex, be it in the lots or the main street circle.

All in all, my experience at the Gardens at Raritan has been a very pleasant one. I have felt safe, and have never encountered any inconvenience which would have prevented me from staying. I will be relocating due to employment and family considerations, but I am a bit sad at the fact that this is the case. This complex is very easy to live in. I wholly reccomend it.

I’ve been living here for nine years now very soon to be ten! And I can honestly say it has been an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff are some of the sweetest, most patient, and understanding people you could ask for. They always go above and beyond to help, and you can tell they genuinely care about the residents and the community. The atmosphere here is welcoming and friendly, making it feel like home in every sense of the word. Anytime I’ve needed something, the staff have been resourceful, helpful, and quick to respond. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such high standards over the years, and I’m truly grateful to call this community my home. Thank you guys for all that you do!!!

My experience of living here for a few years now has been up and down. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. The leasing office and maintenance is very quick to help me with any issues. The complex is well taken care of and plenty of pretty flowers. My only complaint would be about the parking. If you come home after 10pm there's really not much parking, and if you do find parking it may be a little walk from your apartment it's not terrible but annoying if you have been gone all day and just want to be home lol. I think there would be more spaces available in the street if residents pulled up directly behind the car parked in front of them instead of leaving half a car length. Also there's limited parking passes the office gives so it's hard to have a few guests over at a time for fear of getting a ticket or towed. I had a bday gathering where a few friends came and 1 was towed, so I would say be aware about that but other than that I do like the atmosphere. I felt very bad for my friend that day the towing company had charged her almost $400. I understand the passes are limited but it is just frustrating how strict the parking is. Other than that birthday gathering I really haven't had any guests over for fear of them being towed. To be fair though I have noticed that New Brunswick in general is quick to tow. I like living here I just wish the parking lots could be extended a little more maybe
