This is a wonderful practice. All doctors, nurse practitioners are kind and caring. Dr Marzili is amazing, and so is Donna.
It is a very much “old school” private practice where medical staff knows you and do their best not to rush the appointment and spend time with you.
Hard to find these days with almost all providers becoming a part of huge, impersonal, disorganized hospital system.
They follow up on your labs (usually via a phone), they send medication refills within hours of being requested, not days or weeks as has been my experience with other offices.
Wait time is usually short (also hard to find these days).
Wonderful, wonderful place. I hope they never stop seeing patients.
I love Dr.Marzelli, I love Donna the NP. Two people who care about you. Donna is the best. The front desk needs some training. They will not go out of their way to help. I needed a note sent to another doctor for evaluation. I called 2 days later because the other doctor did not get what he needed and I would not get an appointment until he received what was needed. I called the office of Dr. Marzelli only to be told the fax machine was broken. I was asked if they could mail it to the doctor. I said yes. They asked me for address which I did not have at the time
The girl would not look it up, I had to hang up and get the address and call back. You would think if the fax machine was not working, someone would have called me. If I didnt call to check I would have never known. That is not acceptable.
I recently found this office and registered my mother as a new patient. We were seen by the Nurse practitioner Dene. She was amazing. Very kind, personable and pleasant. She did a through assessment, answered all my questions and concerns with my mother’s health and medications, and helped review current medications and schedule. We didn’t have very long of a wait after filling out all new patient paperwork. There is also a lab cor right across from the building so very convenient. I would recommend this practice to all. My daughter and I will be transitioning to this office as well, despite living a bit further away.
All the doctors here have been great and super helpful—especially Donna Shultice. My issue is with the front desk staff.
A) They have zero personality and seem like they resent anyone even walking into the office. It’s as if disturbing their internal office chatter is the end of the world.
There’s one girl who just tosses the clipboard at you without even a greeting. Occasionally, she escorts patients to the exam rooms, but even then, she can’t manage a simple “hello” or “hope you feel better.”
They barely manage to hand out paperwork, let alone collect copays, updated insurance or handle prescriptions properly.
There’s also a gentleman who handles appointments, and aside from giving him your expiration date, he clearly wants nothing to do with you.
Overall, the doctors are fantastic—but the front desk creates such a negative vibe that it honestly makes me dread coming in.
I have been a patient of Dr Thomas Marzili for 15+ years now (probably closer to 17 or 18 years that I've been a patient of his). I started using him as my primary before 2010 when his location was on route 70 in Medford because my father was a patient of his. I now live about 45 minutes away from his Marlton location but I still use him as my primary. Dr Marzili truly is a great doctor and HE TRULY REALLY DOES LISTEN TO YOUR CONCERNS. Whatever medical issue you are having he works with you to try to find the best solution to your medical issue while also making sure it is one that you are comfortable with. There are too many doctors nowadays that just prescribe you the medicine from whichever pharmaceutical company gives them the most extra perks but Dr Marzili has never once done that with me. He really does listen to you and discusses things with you. He actually reminds me of how doctors used to be when I was a child in the 80s and early 90s. I am so grateful to have Dr Marzili as my primary physician.
