Trovato's Due'

We have been going to Trovatos since they opened years ago ,
It is so Real NJ Italian!!
The food is SO over the top, I'm talking fresh and authentic NJ food here, top quality ingredients, no cutting cormers, the real thing!
Tony and staff are the most friendly and courteous of any North Jersey restaurants I've ever visited. Simply the best!!!

Not for the light spenders but worth every dollar. The food is always on point, I have yet to be disappointed. The shrimp scampi is Grade A and the linguine is cooked just slightly al dente. My wife usually gets the chicken parm dinner, which is super tender every time. They have a deep staff so your table is always being cleaned, dirty plates cleared, etc. They start you with bread, bruschetta, meats/cheese on the house which is a nice touch. Great place to go on a date, bring the family out, or just sit at the bar. Well run restaurant that has my support!

My wife and I went here on a Tuesday night for dinner and it might have been the best dinner we’ve had in 2025! We started with a risotto with sausage and Brussels sprouts, the long hot peppers with potatoes, and an order of the Sicilian meatballs. All of the appetizers were incredible. My wife ordered the linguine with broccoli rabe and shrimp and I opted for the Braciole with homemade rigitoni. Everything was delectable.

Finally, we each had an espresso martini and shared the chocolate chip banana bread pudding which might have been a top five dessert in my life!

Antonio the chef/owner was so nice and we will definitely be coming back again and again!

We went to Travato’s Due last night for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! The food and service were top notch. My husband got the Filet Mignon Angry Joe and said it was hands down the best steak he’s ever had out. (He is hard to impress lol). I had the grilled salmon pesto and it was perfect. We also tried the shrimp beep and finished with tiramisu—both delicious!

Amazing food, amazing service. The wonderful woman behind the bar, C.C., is a gem! She was SO attentive and had a lot of fun suggestions based on her experience with the menu. She makes a *perfect* martini, so if you’ve been searching for one, this is the place! C.C. is truly a ray of sunshine and made the night so enjoyable.

We ended up ordering a ton of different things to go because we just didn’t have enough room for all of the suggestions… and we have been happy at our house all week!

Insider tip- do not miss dessert! The tiramisu is to die for.
